ABA League Basketball Odds and Markets
When Crvena Zvezda meet Partizan in Belgrade, the arena shakes – and the Eternal Derby is only one of many reasons the ABA League is a basketball classic. Launched in 2001 for clubs from the former Yugoslavia, it is one of Europe's strongest regional competitions, and 1xBet Iraq lists its fixtures as each round is scheduled.
The Eternal Derby and Its Betting Character
Derbies between the two Belgrade giants are intense, physical and often low-scoring for long stretches. Crowds are loud enough to influence momentum, and form going into the game counts for less than usual. Many bettors on 1xBet look at handicaps rather than the moneyline, since the margin is often small and a single late possession can decide the game. For anyone betting with 1xBet in Iraq, that makes the handicap the more informative market in a derby.
Belgrade derbies are tight and emotional
Budućnost and Cedevita Olimpija are dangerous at home
Clubs balancing EuroLeague games may rotate
How the Competition Runs
Clubs mainly from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia play a regular season followed by playoffs, and the league has also admitted clubs from outside the region. Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Budućnost and Cedevita Olimpija are among the leading names. The title has at times carried a route toward the EuroLeague, but European access depends on arrangements that can change between seasons, so check the current rules rather than assuming a guaranteed place.

Balkan Basketball on 1xBet
The league sits in the basketball betting section next to the EuroLeague and national leagues of the region, which helps when a club is juggling two competitions. Market descriptions can be read in Arabic by anyone betting with 1xBet in Iraq.
Rules and Pace
Games follow FIBA rules: four ten-minute quarters and five-minute overtime periods. The Balkan style tends to be structured and tactical, so totals lines are often moderate. Read the market rules on 1xBet to see whether overtime is included before choosing a moneyline or total. Big clubs, meanwhile, may manage their stars when a EuroLeague game is only a day or two away.
Derby Nights on the App
Tip-offs usually fall in the Iraqi evening, so a derby is easy to follow live. Where in-play markets are offered, the 1xBet app lets you switch between handicap and total lines as momentum swings. The Android version is available as the 1xBet APK from the official site.

Navigating to the Regional League
On 1xBet, go to basketball and open the international or regional competitions, where the ABA League has its own page. Select a game, click a price and check the stake and potential payout in the slip before confirming. You need to register before your first bet; afterwards, just log in. Iraqi users can also track the EuroLeague from the same menu.
Zvezda, Partizan or a Challenger?
Zvezda against Partizan is the fixture everyone circles, but the ABA League title often depends on how the big clubs handle the smaller arenas. Open 1xBet Iraq on derby night and Iraqi fans will see how tightly the handicap is drawn.
